Susanne J. McDonald is quality manager for B&B Laboratories and health, safety and environment manager for TDI-Brooks International. In her capacity as quality manager, she establishes and maintains laboratory data quality policies, objectives and documentation, as well as reviews all data packages. As the health, safety and environment manager she establishes and maintains TDI-Brooks International’s health, safety and environment policies, objectives, training and documentation.

 

McDonald received her doctorate from Texas A&M University in 1990. Her recent professional training has included 40 Hour HAZWOPER, ISM Code Maritime Auditor/Lead Auditor; Accident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis; Advanced Safety Auditing; BP HSE Contractor HSE Symposium and OSHA Injury and Illness Record Keeping Training. McDonald, who has held positions at Texas A&M, O.I. Corporation and Old Dominion University,  has been Co-PI on projects for the National Science Foundation, the Minerals Management Service, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. She has over 20 publications and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Xi honor societies.
