Vessel Chartering and Management
TDI-Brooks has over 20 years of vessel chartering and management
experience and currently operates four research vessels,
the GeoExplorer, Gyre, Brooks McCall and Rylan T. These are multi-use
vessels suited for a wide variety of oceanographic research
duties.
Each vessel is equipped with satellite communications (voice,
fax, and email), differential GPS accurate to +/- 5m, sub-bottom
profiling equipment for oceanographic surveys, and large a-frames
and high-speed winches for coring or geotechnical work. Other
equipment can be readily installed as needed.
TDI-Brooks home port in the U.S. is the Stanco dock in Freeport,
Texas.
