Chemistry Laboratory
B&B Laboratories is an affiliate of TDI-Brooks International, both of which are owned and operated by world-renowned geochemists Dr. Jim Brooks and Dr. Bernie Bernard in College Station, Texas. B&B Laboratories delivers high-quality analytical services and scientific interpretation with specialized expertise in petroleum geochemistry, surface geochemical exploration, oil spill response, environmental baseline studies (EBS), fingerprinting, and comprehensive environmental chemistry assessments, including PFAS, PAHs, organochlorines, PCBs, TPH, and more.
With extensive experience analyzing trace contaminants in sediment, soil, tissue, and water, our team has supported major long-term programs such as NOAA’s Status and Trends Mussel Watch (1999–present) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Analytical Control Facility (2002–present). We have also played a key role in oil spill response efforts, including the Mississippi Canyon 252 (Deepwater Horizon) Natural Resource Damage Assessment (2010–present). In addition, our laboratory participated in National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) interlaboratory comparison studies for tissue, sediment, and crude oil from 1998 through 2011.

TDI-Brooks’ geotechnical laboratory in College Station (North Houston), Texas possess extensive experience and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and highly qualified personnel for geotechnical testing and interpretation in accordance with international standards. All laboratories are fully accredited.
