Survey for Icebreaker Wind Farm

TDI-Brooks International recently completed a geotechnical survey for the Icebreaker project in Lake Erie. Mr. Peter Krouse, a journalist for cleveland.com, recently wrote about progress on the Icebreaker Wind Farm Project. He also made a video which can be seen below.
This is a ground breaking project as it will be the first fresh water wind farm in North America. Six wind turbines are planned for construction about 8 miles northwest of Cleveland. TDI- Brooks International’s recent contributions were for the characterization of the geotechnical requirements related to the cable run from the onshore power substation to the offshore wind farm.
